Scarlett Johansson (born November 22 1984 New York City New York, U.S.) American actress and singer whose acting versatility earned her praise across a range of genres from period drama to thrillers and action. Johansson, born to an architect and producer, was born within New York City. Hunter was the sister of Johansson was born in the City of New York. At the age of seven year old, she started making auditions for TV commercials. In order to improve her skills, she attended an acting class at Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in Manhattan and then she attended the Professional Children's School. In the Off-Broadway play Sophistry she worked with Ethan Hawke. She then appeared in her first film with North (1994) and was directed by Rob Reiner, at age nine. Johansson then appeared on screen in Just Cause, but she was first seen in Manny & Lo, a film about siblings left behind by their parents who run away. In The Horse Whisperer, Johansson as a teen victim of an incredibly tragic accident. Her role in Ghost World brought her more notoriety as the infamous teenager Rebecca. In addition to appearing on this show, she's an accomplished actress on stage. She has delivered astonishing performances in shows like Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith entered the arena of entertainment at the age when she was very young. When she was a kid, she discovered her passion for acting. Smith's parents supported her in finding her first stage role in the age of six. She created a commercial with Dannon. Similar to other novice actresses the actress honed her talents on the stage. In addition to other projects in the USA she also made her theatrical debut in Wildflower. She was a student at in the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory, part of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
